We are thrilled to share some exciting news from the HEAD Foundation! Our girls’ soccer team has qualified for the Costa Rica National Games (Juegos Nacionales 2024), a prestigious event that features only the top 8 U18 teams in the country. This qualification is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and remarkable talent.
Aiming for the National Title
The girls are now setting their sights on bringing home the National Title. To prepare, they are undertaking an intense training regimen over the coming weeks. This includes extra conditioning sessions on the beach to boost their stamina and resilience.
Recent Achievements
Our team recently demonstrated their prowess in a practice game against Grecia U17, where they secured a commanding 5-2 victory. This weekend, they will face a more challenging opponent: Grecia’s 2nd Division Team. This match will be a real test of their skills and readiness for the National Games.
